BEING 23 again...

Hmmm, every year, when the days hit AUGUST, it reminds me that I am going to be 23 years old soon, LOL. Can't believe that time flies and life's good!

Having a supportive mom, lovely boys, caring friends, wonderful colleagues and many others, including my aunties, uncles, cousins and grandpa whom I miss so much!

When it comes to my birthday month, many things come in mind, wanted to write down what's next to do (just like new year resolution), want to find out what have I done so far, and what memories that I have along the way, regardless happy or sad ones...

As we grow older (or wiser hahaha), we will tend to have lesser friends by our side, celebrating our birthday, each year, you will have lesser, as what I can see. We had at least 20 friends cebrating our 15-year old birthday, 30 friends celebrating our 18-year old birthday and when we hit 21 year-old, the figure drops ....

Well, I am going to be 23 this year, amazingly! Hahaha! Not getting old, just a little bit of wrinkles and rougher hands... well, that's ok, we get old naturally, but most important is happily :)

In fact, on our birthday (when we are single), we hope to have a nice dinner with our buddies, or a gila-party at karaoke with our K-kakis... blowing candles on a cake, getting gifts that we always dream of (not a car or a house - but at least a piece of birthday card :) ... and some wants to have a holiday elsewhere to reward themselves ... I still remember when I was celebrating my 21st birthday (real age at 21), my friends bought me a cake, that cake, consists of 10 slices of different cakes... that was one of the most memorable moments. Also, 4 years back, my colleagues bought a cake for a few August babies, that has a cartoon of me on it, that's was lovely, can't forget those great times....

We probably has forgotten that our mothers suffered on the day we were born, they also deserve a good dinner and if we can afford, a small gift, as a token of appreciation to our mothers.

How is it like to be at the age of 23? (Those who knows me, will know this is a 'real' age of mine) hahahaha.... It's wonderful! Life has been good. I thank God every morning and before I sleep, I prayed for good health for my family and well-being of my boys. I count my blessings, at least 2 times a day, and I always thank God for giving me great buddies, amazing colleagues, and a fantastic superior... (I am not that religious, but I just want to thank God)

As for the coming year, I hope to do more charity. I know, it could be challenging for me, as when I go to visit homes, I have to drag friends who have cars to go along hahaha, because I can't bring all the goodies with my bare hands... and this time, I will do it differently. Time to get a good camera (hopefully by end of this month) and start a 'new' way of charity. I will snap pictures of the poor families, blind families and give them printed copies as remembrance... how wonderful this can be...

Other than that, I think, if possible, I want to take up a dancing class. I love to dance, but I always leave work late, just have to find time to do something that I always wanted to do ;)

What else? Hmmm maybe something for my family, just can't figure out what yet! hahaha, but I successfully bought new wardrobe, which makes the room looks more organized. Perhaps new mattress for my boy :)

Looking forward great times with my loved ones, many good returns to them, they've been wonderful and always there for me!

CHEERS, Happy 23rd birthday to me!
