EXCEPTIONAL, SUPERB & POWERFUL LIFE

Tips for an Exceptional, Superb & Powerful Life!
*Not sure who forwarded this to me, but worth sharing CHEERS!*

Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
(OK, I walk at least 45 mins in the morning, and I even smile to the cats and dogs on the road)

Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.
(I think if I ever ask my colleagues to buy me a ‘lock’, I’ll get at least 25 locks! Wakakaka!)

Record your late night shows and get more sleep. (Sleeping is one of my hobbies…)

When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, "My purpose is to____ today."
(Wow! I just hope for a happy, smoothie day ahead!)

Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
(Yes! This is what I do everyday, but to show Empathy, must be real, not fake)

Watch more movies, play more games and read more books than you did in previous years.
(I do this too! I love reading! I love movies and I have now started to play the same games that my kids are playing… e.g. tut-tut-train…)

Make time to practice meditation, yoga, tai chi, and prayer.
They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

(Yoga is my favourite! 6am.. no joke –
sometimes I over-slept and regret for a few minutes)

more time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.
(Grandma is 77, kids are under 6… I love them so much)

Dream more while you are awake.
(Shit! Want me to kena ‘goreng sotong’ meh?)

Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts .
(Agree with water, my favourite drink. I just don’t really fancy blueberries, will they make my intestine “blue”? DETOX DETOX!)

Try to make at least three people smile each day.
(Mission accomplished, I can increase the quantity to at least 20 people smile each day)

Clear your clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life .
(Spring cleaning… let’s do it!)Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment. (Hate gossips, but to release tension, I still think it’s fine)

Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime. (Let’s celebrate!)

Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid.
(Please offer me chocolates, I still think chocolates are better than sex!)

Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.
(People starts to complaint that I laughed too much and I just said, I even smile to animals… I’m weird!)

Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
(Ya, I love myself despite of ‘messy background’)

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
(I always say that we should appreciate what we have, stop revenge)

Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does .
(Hahaha, true… be happy everyone)

You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
(Wow, this is ‘cool’… just be ‘cool’ and get over it!)

Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
(This is one of my mottos of life)

Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about .
(Super true, I love myself and I think everyone should be glad of who we are and what we have)

Burn the candles, use the nice bed sheets, Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special. (Romantic…)

No one is in-charge of your happiness except you.
(Geng! Love to be happy)

Frame every so-called “disaster” with these words: "In five years, will this matter?"
(There is always a ‘cooling period’ for disasters, it’s the matter of time to let it go)

Forgive everyone for everything.
(Let’s practise this now!)What other people think of you is none of your business. (It’s their mouth and their thinking… be good, do good and everything will be good)

Time heals almost everything. Give time, time.
(ooooooohhh lala… I realize this when I started to diet)

However good or bad a situation is, it will change. So stop complaining about the weather, the job, the rents etc etc
(I appreciate that we have rain, please rain every night at 10pm wakakaka! I like my colleagues and I love my job… )

Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
(can everyone just have a Facebook account?)

Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
(Ignore pessimist and stupid thinking people)

Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
(I prefer to be envy-ed)

The best is yet to come.
(So let’s look forward for the best… we call it ‘Save the Best for last’)

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
(Alright, I’ll do some make-up daily hahaha… )

Do the right thing!
(This is very general, we’ll never know whether it’s right or wrong, but at least, we must know, we must not do bad things… it’s karma)

Call your family often.
(I LOVE MY FAMILY…they know it!)

Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: " am thankful for ___." Today I accomplished ____.
(I just have to combine the words to--“I am thankful & today I accomplished a happy day, CHEERS!”)

Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
(“STRESS” does this word exist?)

Enjoy the ride.

Remember that this is not Disney World and you certainly don't want a fast pass.

You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
(Expect less, you’ll be happier too!)

Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

(Can I marry my mom? She is cute at times, love you mom!)

Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
(Great stuff to keep in mind)

When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.
(This is important, please be romantic too…)

When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.
(Just don’t make mistakes, and you don’t have to say it!)

Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
(Everyone has their own habits, be considerate and everything will be alright!)

Believe in love at first sight.
(Our eyes are selective at times, if you love, love with your heart. I fell in love with Aaron Kwok at first sight wakakaka!)

Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
(Mine is to cut old folks fingernails when I get older… don’t laugh la…)

Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.

(I love to be loved and appreciate people who loves me)

In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
(No time to call ‘names’ in disagreements. We shout out ‘#*^%*#@&#^$!)

Don't judge people by their relatives.
(Yes, all my relatives are ‘rich people’… and I am not.. wakakaka!)

Talk slowly but think quickly.
(I do both quickly ohh la laaaa)

When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'
(Can we say, “Pergi la lu!”)

Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
(It’s risky to be in love again…)

Say 'bless you' when you hear someone sneeze.
(Hope that it’s not flu)

When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
(Learn and continue to do the ‘right’ thing)

Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.
(You gain your own respect…)

Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
(Agree, let’s treasure our relationships)

When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
(I’ve corrected mine)

Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
(We are Grammy Awards Nominees, aren’t we?)

Spend some time alone.
(This is essential, listen to your favourite songs would be cool too…)
