WHAT'S SINGLE MOM?

What's love?
What's motherhood?
What's single mom?
Do we deserve a second chance in love?

When you shop, you only go to supermarket, buy diaper, milk powder, kids food - vitagen, hot dogs, honeys tar, ribena. The next department will be children department, you'll check on the discounted items, see if you can grab as much clothes as you can with RM 100 hahaha!

After that, you'll bring kids to Mc Donalds, order their favourite french fries, nuggets and ice cream. You won't dare to grab a bite, kids are priority!

Kids love to visit the toilets - they can pee, wash hands, blow dry their small littles hands. They can go to toilet 2-3 times in 2 hours, not really they've business to do, sometimes they just like to go there, to play with water while washing their hands :)

You'll try to minimise the chance to pass by any playground, amusement park - just afraid that they don't want to go home after playing.

You'll make sure your bag is stuffed with sweets, junks, chocolates or mamee, just in case they are hungry...

Being a single mother is tiring sometimes. Having to face the real working world, go home to face the kids jumping around and talk non-stop... but these are blessings! Not everyone is lucky to have kids! To me, I'm glad that I've my lovely mom and a great babysitter to take care of my boys!

• my mom does all the housework, she even iron all my clothes
• mom cooks daily with whatever ingredients I bought from the market with grandma
• I love to buy things, but I normally ended up buying groceries even if I plan to buy clothes or whatever
• I feel secured to see the fridge and kitchen is stuffed with food
• my mom likes junk food, she'll eat non-stop with my boys. When she feels heaty (throat is ithcy or coughing), she'll say, "Next time don't buy anymore." hahaha! After a while, when I buy again, she'll continue to eat. Even my eldest son, Foong-jai will say when he coughs, "Mommy, next time don't buy ice cream, make me cough." - who can resist ice cream leh? Adui! hahaha!

To me, I admit that I didn't really play a 'full-time' role as a mom. I have to work on weekdays, and weekends, I just lay in bed... hahaha! I even ask Foong-jai to take care of his little bro, Jern.

I seldom boil water, if I had to cook, I'll open baked beans and steam with the rice. One dish is enough! If I'm hardworking, I'll make some salad, egg mayonaise and eat with my boys. My boys enjoy bread with kaya, butter or mayonaise. They like sausages and ham too!

Suprisingly, Jern likes mini-tomatoes, lettuce - raw and he just eat like that~ lagi senang for me, no need to cook, wakakkaa! Teribble la me!

Ah... my favourite self-made dessert - agar-agar! I like to eat agar-agar. That's why I love to make it. It's easy, jelly, water, sugar, colouring and with longan and cincau.. hahaha! love it!

But lately, I've changed a little. I'm asking around for recipe and try to cook. I'll try to cook and some friends and colleagues become my 'piggies' hahaha cheers!

FORCE FOR GOOD

You're definitely happier than those who are have to worry whether there's enough money for the rest meal, whether their health is ok.

• blind people who has to memorise the way home
• beggers who has to think where to go to beg
• handicapped who has to worry about no people is accepting them
• orphanages who don't have a chance for proper education
• old folks who have to worry whether someone is there to accompany them for dinner?

We always focus outselves and often forget to see around our environment. Although no one is asking us to help, no one cares whether we care, no one bother whether we are looking at them.

Some people likes to share jokes, share food, share thoughts. They are just looking for happy moments with others, not asking for anything in return.

Simple life starts from our thinking, do we think normal? or we are just too materialistic?

Do good and everything will be alrite! CHEERS!

Filled with people walking & children walking
The sun is hot, but it doesn't stop them from doing what they want



Looking up the sky
I can see the blue sky, the white clouds and can feel the wind blowing across my face
Birds are flying and trees are swinging, leaves are dropping and the street's busy

Looking at the people
I can see my family, friends and strangers
Family is an important 'gem' to us,
We cherish our love together, without them, our life is empty
Friends are our assets, we treausre the days we've known each other, sharing of thoughts and funny moments

Strangers are those people who walk pass us, either they are of familiar faces or not,
they've their own living and own views of life

It's important to have all 3, this shows that we are NOT ALONE :)

TIPS FOR GREAT LIFE!

Health:

1. Drink plenty of water.
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer.
6. Play more games.
7. Read more books than you did in 2008.
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
9. Sleep for 7 hours.
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.

WHEN I WAS 4 YEARS OLD

HIRO & SAM

Hiro & Sam

These guys are great!

In Red shirt, his name is Hiro. Green shirt is my 'pet' Sam. I've adopted a pet in facebook, which is a 'pink coloured pig'. I've got to name my pet, so I named him "Sam Cheong". But there are applications to 'bath the pet' and 'feed the pet'. I only bathed him, but when it comes to 'feed the pet' page, I closed it! Let him slim down hahahaha!

Both are my very limited 'guy friends'. I'm selective in general. I don't make friends with guys with bad intentions or 'hamsap'. Hahaha!

Hiro is Sam's friend, he is a mix of Japanese & Korean, his family is in Japan, and he is studying in Brisbane. Got to know him when he came for a 3-week vacation early this year, and he is such a great guy! He is just 20 years old, but very friendly. Smiling face with dimples and nice polite attitude.

I miss Hiro, hope to see him very soon!

Just don't have to compare with Sam. To me, I treat Sam as my pet. Hahaha! Whenever I cook, he is my guinea pig! He will eat whatever new food that I cook, because he is very good at criticising. So far, I think I'm doing well, as he has not complain about the tastes yet! Hahaha!

Strange story on how I met with Sam. He was one of the consumers of my Company products who was being cheated (can't tell much, it's private!) but still, how stupid right?! I was the one who picked his call when he called and check on his fax. I've to be honest, he has a friendly voice (maybe because I sound friendly), so we got connected very fast (connected means understand each other - not more than that!!)

That's how we got to know each other! Sounds weird, because he is 5 years younger than me. And we became friends. Everyone thought that he is my boyfriend, but we are actually not at all. He is a great companion when it comes to food and movies. He met with my colleagues, my friends, and even my mom & kids. He is just another 'girlfriend' of mine.

We've never done any other stuff together before hahaha, although we always wanted to go reflexology!

How do I find him? His behaviour is like 'aunty'. He loves freebies. He is a good negotiator, I saved a lot of energy. He will do the talking when we buy things. Hahaha! I still can't believe that he is a better negotiator then me! Good, at least, I can rest my mouth for a while.

He loves to eat - especially spicy food. He can eat super-spicy food, I think he is crazy at times! His face, is very smooth, I wonder why he has no pimples! If I ever drink a bowl of tomyam, I'll have at least 6 huge pimples popping out the next day and the huge pimples will stay on my face for at least 6 days! Hahaha!

He is moody! He said, "NO PHOTOGRAPH SESSION TODAY, I'M MOODY!" I always bring along my camera wherever I go. So everytime when we go out, I'll snap picture of him and the food we ate. So, when he is moody, I don't snap picture of him, I respect him, but I started to put on 'video mode' and start snapping video of his speech hahaha! There was one time when he told me he was moody, so I sang 'happy birthday' song to him hahaha! Then, he min-min-kiong-kiong smile and said "Not my birthday yet la" hahaha! At least he smiled, he didn't know that he looked ugly when he is moody :P (he is never handsome anyway hahaha how bad) - it's ok, he doesn't know I have a blog !!!

oooooooooooooo, I need 3 days to type about him hahaha!
